benches equipped with electronic pressure transducers from Stellar Technology. Adjustment can be made with the adjustment screw in the pressure transducer. Industrial test bench models, such as the BE /E, have two pressure transducers. The psi transducer located in the industrial pressure circuit cannot be Size: KB. Excercise Related articles: A potentiometer consists of a resistive element having a sliding contact. The "LN" Level Transmitter utilizes potentiometric technology. Potentiometric level measurement consists of applying voltage to a metallic conductive probe (potentiometer track). The medium in the tank acts as a potentiometer slider and receives partial voltage from the probe that is measured on the wall of the tank for single probe models, orFile Size: 1MB.

POTENTIOMETRIC PRESSURE SENSORS The potentiometric pressure sensor provides a simple method for obtaining an electronic output from a mechanical pressure gauge. The device consists of a precision potentiometer, whose wiper arm is mechanically linked to a Bourdon or bellows element. The movement of the wiper arm across the potentiometer converts the mechanically detected sensor .   Some of the most commonly used potentiometers for this purpose and their basic working is explained below. 1. Wire-Wound Potentiometer – The most commonly used resistance elements in this potentiometer are nickel, chromium or nickel copper. As these materials have a very low temperature coefficient of resistance, they can be used to handle large currents and also can be used up to 5 Hertz. The ATB Automated Potentiometric Titrator features a burette unit designed with a top-mounted switching value to reduce dead space. The optional “smart” cable permits storage of electrode information in the electrode itself (rather than the titration unit) to eliminate the need for recalibration when using multiple electrodes.

Ion-selective electrodes (ISEs) are also commonplace, and have been the subject of several books (3–5): there is .A potentiometric sensor is a type of chemical sensor that may be ebook to determine the analytical concentration of some components of the analyte gas or sensors measure the electrical potential of an electrode when no current is present.
